Thanks Bill. Freddie was so deep. This is what he wrote on the blackboard before game 6.

One man with a dream at pleasure shall go forth and conquer a crown and three with a new songs measure can trample an empire down. Arthur O'Shaughnessy, Ode

I was looking at pictures we took at my house before and during the game. It was such a happy time. We all had headaches the next day. It's a bittersweet memory to the extent that we're still waiting for a third cup. Also, a lot of my family and friends in those pictures are dead. Hurry up Flyers!!!!!!!!!

Bill, I just don’t see why the Hart shouldn’t go to Draisaitl. Him and McDavid literally carry that team, the supporting class is very very thin. McDavid went down , albeit for a short time, Draisaitl carried the way, not only scoring but they were winning. The makeup of that roster leaves me no choice to give the nod to Leon, I’d probably go Panarin at 2, mackinnon 3.

The only awards that matter are the Flyers team awards.

The plan is in place.

For the hub cities I would prefer Minnie, Carolina, Calgary and Columbus. Lower populations and a little more remote. Surprised la was on the list. Maybe Arizona or Dallas as well. Here comes the argument of home ice. I hope if they are in their home city they have the players all go through the same process. As in they do not get to sleep in their beds but at a hotel quarantined the way the other players will be.

Also interesting the reseeding of the top 4.

LA should not be picked. Too hot and it's a hotspot right now

Exhibition or not Bill those 3 games for the Bruins will be to get their legs back. Sitting around for months then having to play a team that's already played would be killer

To think the flyers team awards really matter is a bit ridiculous, nice to get but that’s not going on your resume when talked about as a player

My bet is the eventual winner being referred to as Stanley Cup Champs

LV and Dallas will be scorching hot in July as well. Will be very difficult to keep the quality of ice

I’d say go with Vancouver or Edm for the West and a US location for the East. Minnesota would be a good host.

Is praise not a good thing. No matter how old you get a little appreciation is nice. Besides it gave Bill and Chris a few podcast and blog topics. It’s just about fun, conversation and appreciation of players. No harm in that. I doubt giroux is out grabbing cops asses over winning a team award but still fun none the less

It wasn’t even within my thought process to even consider Craig Berube as a Jack Adams and I put Alain Vigneault at the top. I hated Beebe as our head coach here but he’s more than deserving.

Really though, nobody is concerned about the possible outcome of the bye week. Pitt catches fire. Beats the Habs. We go in cold and they beat us. (frank) that!

It will be real in that the Cup does exist and a team would win it.

Absolutely. If they win it, under these circumstances, it will be even more special to me.

aren't the top seeded teams playing their games as the other teams are playing their best of 5 series?
